What Our Students Do

Ballarat Clarendon College is a school of the Uniting Church in Australia. During term all students from Prep to Year 12 attend a weekly chapel service, conducted by the College Chaplain.

There is also a chapel service open to the College community, and attended by the College boarders, on most Sundays during term. These services seek to address issues and values related to contemporary life, with links to aspects of the Christian faith. The Chaplain also conducts services for staff at the beginning and end of each academic year.

The service for the blessing of a child who has links to the College community may, by arrangement with the Chaplain, be incorporated into the Sunday service. The Chapel may be used as a venue for weddings on the condition that at least one of the couple is an Old Collegian and the wedding is conducted by a member of the clergy.
