Clarendon offers quality boarding education for 75 female and 75 male senior students mainly from across western Victoria and Southern New South Wales in two separate areas on the Senior campus. The Boarding Houses give young adults a unique place that allows them to feel free, yet safe and cared for in a homely environment. The smaller size enables a professional staff, mainly teachers from the day school, to provide boarders with personalised attention and a supportive and compassionate environment that provides access to facilities in technology, music, drama, art and sport.
While it is appropriate for boarders to have some private space in their own rooms for both study and socialising, the common rooms in both the Boys and Girls Boarding Houses are wonderful places in which to spend time. It is here that the boarders gather and interact and the atmosphere is usually vibrant and energetic. As much as possible, the Boarding Houses really do feel like ‘home away from home’, enabling them to live in a place which is dynamic, yet very much a place for relaxation and care.
