New Series of Science Lectures Open to the School Community!

We are delighted to announce an ongoing series of exciting Science lectures and presentations to be held at Ballarat Clarendon College throughout the year. Our brand new Rowena E Coutts Science Centre, provides a wonderful venue for the whole community to together explore some of the important ideas and questions that our students and the wider scientific community are currently wrestling with in a series of lectures that we hope families will be able to enjoy throughout the year. The building has fully operational laboratories with the latest technology, including a Foucault Pendulum & Vertical Laboratory, which will be the focus of presentations and demonstrations later in the year. Staff and students are very excited to be able to teach and learn in such an ideal environment.

Ballarat Clarendon College Senior Production 2015 – Avenue Q

Winner of the Tony "Triple Crown" for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book, AVENUE Q is part flesh, part felt and packed with heart. AVENUE Q SCHOOL EDITION is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that although the residents seem nice, it's clear that this is not your ordinary neighbourhood. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life.

Senior School Academic Honours and Leaders Assembly

Each year Ballarat Clarendon College formally recognises the academic and leadership achievements of our Year 11 & 12 students and graduates from the previous year. Each student at Clarendon puts a tremendous amount of effort into their studies, many of them reaping the rewards of that hard work with their chosen University course placement. This assembly is our chance to formally recognise those students who have displayed exceptional academic effort and leadership qualities.
