Throughout a student’s time at Ballarat Clarendon College, our focus is to maximise their competence, skills and capacity so that, at the end of their time at the school, when they stand on the threshold of their future, they can choose their heart’s desire.
Clarendon is seeking an enthusiastic cello teacher for 6 to 8 hours per week, commencing as soon as possible. This is an ongoing part time position that has the scope to increase.
The successful applicant will be a vibrant music educator with an established reputation in both teaching and performing. They will be required to teach both individual and group classes at the Junior and Senior School campuses, be involved in the Year 2 classroom program, as well as direct small ensembles as part of the co-curricular Music Program at the College. It is expected that the successful applicant will demonstrate a high level of performance on the double bass / cello as well as a thorough understanding of contemporary strings teaching techniques.

Employment is subject to the provision of a current Employee Working with Children Check. VIT Registration would be an advantage.
