What Our Students Do

The Performing Arts Department strives to incorporate all facets of performing arts (music, dance and drama) into a holistic, comprehensive and quality educational program.

The aim of our program is to build students’ personal mastery in all facets of performing arts, so as to maximise competencies, skills and capacities, and to develop within each person a lifelong appreciation of all the arts has to offer to enrich their lives and the lives of others.

All students have the  opportunity to have individual music lessons, and are encouraged to play with one of our many ensemble groups, which are structured to cater for the different levels of experience and expertise.  Students are also encouraged to participate in musical and dramatic productions, which take place each year.

The following productions will take place in 2016:

  • Senior Play (Company) – 19 to 21 May 2016
  • Performing Arts Showcase – 30 July 2016
  • Years 5-9 Musical (The Lion King) – 19 & 20 August 2016
  • Junior School Showcase – 12 November 2016
