Results - 2010 VCE

For the seventh successive year Ballarat Clarendon College has been named the best performing school in regional Victoria. Given our open-entry policy, this is an extraordinary achievement.
 
"Once again the school is extremely proud of all the students in the Class of 2010.  The wonderful outcomes are a result of the hard work and teamwork of staff, students and parents.  To be named as the Top Regional School for the past seven years and ranked in the top 10 schools in Victoria is recognition of the expertise and commitment of all involved with the Clarendon community. 
 
Although this is the time of year when we celebrate our academic success, this is just one measure of achievement in our school.  We pride ourselves on our pastoral care and we believe in providing a wide range of opportunities for our students.  Sport, the King Island experience, performing arts, outdoor education, Chapel, community service, debating, public speaking and visual arts are just some of the opportunities that provide a holistic, broad education. 
 
We believe that student involvement in all of these activities does not have to be at the expense of optimal progress in their learning in the classroom – the results of the Class of 2010 are testament to this."

            • 8 students achieved an ATAR over 99
            • 38 students over 95
            • 27% of study scores over 40
 
Rebecca Foster and Jessica Oxlade each achieved our highest ATAR score of 99.60.
