Debating

Debating has been described as the “bloodiest sport of them all’’. While this may seem a bizarre claim, it does reflect the courage needed to participate in the adversarial activity. Debating requires participants to be able to think quickly on their feet and work effectively as a team in order to destroy the opposition’s case while bravely defending their own.

It was into this arena that 14 teams from BCC entered the Debaters Association of Victoria (DAV) competition and 14 into the Royal South Street Society debating competition.
